Dictatorship?

One day my husband was giving our adolescent son, who is intelligent, witty, and has a very good sense of humor…a talking to. You know the kind.  My husband said “Son this is a dictatorship!”  Then our son said, “Yah, and mom is the tatorship!”  Implying the obvious, dad was the _____.  Even dad had to laugh at that one.  I am still lovingly referred to as “The Tatorship” and dad remains un-named.

We all make choices and those choices affect the outcome of our lives.  This is bad news because you have to take responsibility for your life.  However, it is good news because if you do not like the life you have now, you can change it. In order to have a different outcome you must make different choices.

You can change your life! The power is in your choices; what you choose to think, believe, say, and do!

My query is, if the choice is yours, why are you subjecting yourself to abuse of that dictator that dictates your paycheck? Maybe you have a very supportive mentor who truly desires your greatest good, and wants you to realize your full potential.  They want you to have complete fulfillment out of what you do, and are making sure you are unitizing your unique gifts and talents, and are happy.  They are insuring you make the income you want, and have all the personal time you want to pursue your own desires and spend time with those you love. I have never met an employer like that though.  Even a good supervisor is not THAT GOOD!

If you happen to be self employed, or run a traditional business, you are the dictator.  Are you exhausted?  If you were fulfilled in your business you probably would not be reading this.  Are you tired of being the dictator, or doing it all yourself?

The solution to your problem, whether you are the dictator or the one under dictation, is passive and residual income – it will set you free!
